Meet the Characters

Maisie Clark:
Inquisitive, bright, and determined, Maisie is a young American woman whose dream leads her to Cornwall, and who finds herself launched into the adventure of a lifetime—all thanks to a case of mistaken identity and a little opportunity to meet her dream's greatest inspiration!

Sidney Daniels:
Handsome, charming, and confident, Sidney is more than a village jack-of-all-trades and Maisie's rescuer after her accident; his smile and enigmatic humor both intrigues her and challenges her to figure out exactly what she feels whenever she's in his presence.

Mr. Trelawney:
Formidable and imposing, he's Maisie's new boss in Cornwall — and the mere mention of his name can cause his staff to tremble!

Alistair Davies:
Elusive, genius, and the reason Maisie's in Cornwall ... but will he be the reason she stays??

 Brigette:
Second in command, organized, and extremely devoted to her job, she keeps everyone else in line, but causes Maisie a little panic now and then about her job performance.

 Molly:
Kindhearted and sympathetic, Molly is Maisie's best guide to navigating the new world of Cornwall (except for Sidney, of course!) and tries her best to help her new friend feel like she belongs.

Riley:
Arrogant, overly-confident, and a serial flirt, hotel porter Riley thinks he's more charming than he is, which results in conflict both at work and with his friends (but, sadly for him, does not result in that many dates.

 Gomez:
A Latin charmer, Gomez is almost as audacious of a flirt as his close friend and co-worker Riley, although it results in fewer problems for him when it comes to romantic mishaps!

 Norm:
Grumpy and grumbling, Norm the hotel's gardener is Maisie's most curmudgeonly coworker. He spends most of his time avoiding his work when he's not begrudgingly performing his duties.
 Katy:
Working closest with Maisie and Molly on a daily basis, Katy has her mind on boys and romance more than earnest Molly does, and has a passion for lipstick instead of the aforementioned maid's beloved crossword puzzles.

                                Dean:
Sidney's best friend in the village, he's brilliantly talented and embittered after a tragic accident.

Ronnie:
Maisie's ex-boyfriend, who's somewhat hopeless and definitely doesn't understand her!

                          Mrs. Graves:
Housekeeper at the vicarage, she's a gentle soul filled with helpful advice, and a horrible cook whose biscuits are to be avoided.

Kip:
One of Sidney's (many) adorable stray dogs, the one-eyed, shaggy terrier waif shares credit with Sidney as Maisie's rescuer.
